Who Qualifies for the Unified Heroes Discount?

Firefighters, EMS, Police, Military, Medical, and Teacher professionals all are eligible for our program. To get more details about who is included in each category, please click below or contact our office.

How are you able to provide these saving and how much can I save? 

The Unified Heroes program gives up to 1.5% of your home purchase price back to you through our team of preferred agents giving up to 1% of their commission and our loan officers giving up to .5% of their commission. If you were looking to buy a $300,000 home you would receive $4,500 back. That could be enough to cover closing costs! 

How can I apply these savings to benefit me? 

Typically these savings are applied towards the closing costs. However, there are a few other ways they can be used, depending on your specific situation. Please contact our office if you have a specific way you want to use your savings. 

How much of a down payment do I need? 

There is not an easy answer for this question.  It all depends on the specific individual’s credit profile and which loan options they qualify for.  For example, a veteran would qualify for 0% down payment (usually).  There are also grants available for first time home buyers that could cover any down payment requirement.  Additionally, there are also other options to finance the cost of the down payment as a small second mortgage, thus eliminating the headache of any out of pocket expense.  It’s best to contact one of our professional loan advisors to discuss all your options and goals. 

What if I am already working with a Realtor? 

This program works because of our team of approved agents who will be giving a portion of their commissions back to you as the buyer/seller.  If you have an agent who is not part of the team, we welcome him/her to contact us for involvement. 

What do I do if I have credit issues? 

Our loan partners are here to move you in the right direction. If you are worried about your credit, please contact us and one of our specialists will be able to provide you with the most accurate information and guidelines about your situation. 

Can I refinance with the program? 

Yes you can absolutely refinance with this program. However, since there is no real estate agent involved on a refinance transaction, the savings comes from Unified Lending giving .5% of the loan amount, plus the cost of the appraisal.  For example, if your loan amount is $300,000, then .5% would be $1,500 + $500 (for the appraisal).

What types of loans does the program offer? 

Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA, Jumbo

Can I save any money when I sell my home?

Through the Unified Heroes program you can save up to 1%  in realtor commission fees when you list your home on the market.
